Hey, I’m Thomas.

I’m a video editor with a passion for storytelling through pacing, tone, and visual rhythm. I work across short films, documentaries, commercials, and much more, shaping raw footage into polished, engaging content.

I’m comfortable handling full projects independently, from organizing footage to fine-tuning the edit, colour, and sound, and I thrive on creating work that connects with audiences while staying true to the vision of each project.

Showreel

A collection of my video editing projects, showcasing storytelling, pacing, and cinematic impact across film, documentary, and commercial work.

Apple Spec Commercial

A self-initiated spec commercial created to explore clean, product-focused storytelling and high-end brand pacing.

Edited in DaVinci Resolve, this project was built around precision — tight cuts, smooth transitions, and controlled rhythm to match a premium, minimalist aesthetic. I focused on visual clarity, refined colour work, and subtle sound design to reflect the elevated feel expected in tech advertising.

This piece highlights my ability to deliver polished, commercial-style content with strong attention to detail in both edit and grade.

Silent Hill 2 Trailer

An unofficial trailer created as a personal editing exercise inspired by Silent Hill 2. This project was focused purely on tone, pacing, and atmosphere.

Edited in DaVinci Resolve, I used controlled pacing, tension-driven cuts, and dark visual grading to build suspense and reflect the psychological horror style associated with the franchise. Sound design and timing played a key role in shaping the mood and creating impact without relying on dialogue.

This piece demonstrates my ability to craft cinematic tension and replicate an established tone while developing my own editorial approach.

Be A Man

A documentary exploring men’s mental health and the social pressures that shape how men express emotion.

I handled the project independently, with a strong focus on the edit to shape the narrative and emotional impact. Using Adobe Premiere Pro, I structured interviews and supporting visuals to create a clear, honest, and grounded story. Careful pacing, intentional cuts, and subtle sound design were key in maintaining authenticity while keeping the audience engaged.

This film reflects my ability to handle sensitive subject matter with restraint and use editing to support real stories without overpowering them.

No Man Is An Island

A short film created during the COVID-19 pandemic and produced entirely as a solo project.

This piece was edited in Adobe Premiere Pro, where I focused heavily on pacing, tone, and emotional timing. With limited resources during lockdown, the edit became the core of the storytelling — using rhythm, subtle sound design, and intentional cuts to shape the mood and carry the narrative.

This project highlights my ability to independently manage a full post-production workflow and turn a simple concept into a cohesive, emotionally driven final film.
